MIRACULUM was founded in 1924 in Kraków by doctor. Leon Luser. It was one of the first cosmetic companies in Poland, among such brands as Max Factor or Helena Rubinstein.
The company quickly gained recognition. Miraculum cosmetics have already been appreciated at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1931, where the Company was awarded with the GRAND PRIX for face powder. The innovative spirit of Miraculum's founder allowed him to quickly conquer the cosmetics market - he was the first in Poland to use well-known and well-liked faces to promote his products - celebrities of the time: Zofia Batycka - Miss Poland and Vice Miss Europe of 1930 - and Hanka Ordonówna, the biggest star of the inter-war period in Poland.
As early as the inter-war period, MIRACULUM's range of products included:
"the exquisite exotic powder of Dr. Lustra, free of all poisonous metals, perfectly covering all skin imperfections", Negrita oils "against too intensive sunlight", Ultrasol cream for protection against frost and sun, called "a miracle of cosmetic technology", almond bran - the forerunner of today's peeling, eyebrow and lip pencils, nail varnishes and removers, and even Depilex - a preparation for the mechanical removal of superfluous hair. In 1955, the appetite for "foreign luxury" was satisfied by luxury perfumes in glass bottles.
In 1971 - the Pani Walewska brand was introduced, one of the best known Polish cosmetic brands. The name of the brand Pani Walewska comes from Maria Walewska, a Polish aristocrat who lived at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries and with whom Napoleon Bonaparte fell in love.
The character of the brand is underlined by sophisticated packaging, striking in its noble minimalism, distinguished by its unique shape, stylised like Napoleon's hat.
