The Scent's History – From the 17th Century to Today

17th Century – Royal Expectations:
Louis XIV, known for his sensitivity to scents, realized that the aromas of Versailles were not quite fit for royalty. Though he rarely bathed, he was determined to smell divine.

1682 – A Unique Formula Is Born:
Jean Paul Feminis – the Sun King's court alchemist of Italian descent (originally Giovanni Paolo) – creates a new fragrance. Light, fresh, and truly revolutionary for its time.

Early 18th Century – Perfume Reaches Poland:
A manuscript containing the formula makes its way to Polish lands, thanks to the Dominican Order. With the help of a local workshop, the monks begin small-scale production – for both personal use and to support the monastery’s budget. The scent was too good not to share.

Post-War Era – Rediscovering a Forgotten Formula:
After years of partitions, war, and obscurity, the Latin manuscript resurfaces in the archives of the PIXIN company.

1950s – The Legend Returns:
Based on the ancient formula, PRASTARA Eau de Cologne wins over the hearts and noses of Poles. And beyond – it reportedly became a highly sought-after export product.

2023 – A New Chapter in the Legend:
What you now hold in your hands is the latest edition of this iconic scent. Inspired by the original manuscript, we’ve created a refreshed version of PRASTARA Eau de Cologne – a tribute to tradition in a modern interpretation.

TOP NOTES: bergamot, lemon, rosemary, ozone, spicy notes
HEART NOTES: rose, orange blossom, lavender, sea breeze
BASE NOTES: resinous accords, leather, white musk, amber, animalic notes, sandalwood, moss

HOW TO USE:
After shaving, cleanse and dry your face, then apply a small amount of cologne and gently pat into the skin.
